In recent years there has been a massive increase in Health and Safety Executive fines for breaches of relevant legislation in the workplace. We help businesses, if we can, to avoid this through our health and safety check service.

Accidents happen in everyday life but that does not necessarily mean someone was at fault. Our ultimate goal is to protect businesses and their employees by providing the necessary tools to pro-actively implement the systems and documentation required to minimise those accidents and reduce the businesses’ exposure to fines, prosecutions and personal injury claims.

We help you to understand your obligations

We know there is growing frustration amongst brokers and businesses that “defendable” claims are settled by insurers because they do not consider there being sufficient evidence for a firm defence. Unfortunately, we often find that businesses have not complied with their contractual, statutory or common law obligations, but we can help you to avoid this.

The reality is that many businesses are unaware of their obligations and in the absence of documented safe systems of work, suitable and adequate risk assessments, inspection/maintenance records etc. insurers will continue to struggle defending injury claims. Often, it is not until a claim arises that these shortfalls are identified.

We offer a comprehensive, realistic and honest health and safety assessment concentrating on your businesses’ exposure to injury claims. We provide a bespoke report highlighting the areas which require improvement and give guidance to key staff members on how to go about making their areas of responsibility as compliant as they can be.
